The
congregation is 300 years old, but the building is only about
half that age, built in 1834. This church is a lovely landmark,
set among the trees along Cape Cod's historic route 6A.
Nicknamed "the Church of the Sea Captains" in the
days when almost 40 of clipper ships' masters were members there,
this church is officially a Unitrarian Universalist Church named
First Parish Brewster. |
