memories of Christmastime, of a simpler era, are
reawakened by scenes like this one of a "vest-pocket Victorian"
library, one that's still very much alive in the village of
South Dennis on Cape Cod.
Like so many of us, Karen has been fond of "gingerbread"
houses since childhood, and her painting reflects that storybook
kind of fondness. |
