don't realize it until you step inside that heres is the center
of the universe, right where historic Route 6A and the old Harwich
Roat meet. Here, the fragrant aroma of freshly brewed coffee
and the appeal of an earlier time make you feel instantly at
home. Pastries, newspapers, groceries, gifts, toys, necessitities
and coal-stove warmth make the store as inviting in winter as
it is durin gthe blooming summer season when the Brewster
Scoop is open underneath the store for fresh ice
cream.
Karen has painted many versions of The Brewster Store in all
seasons. |
